lyrics
Show me the pain in your face
I can see it change
For a while
For a day
Washed all over the place
Let me see your range
For a while
For a day
The color moves like stone
Wishing you would have known
For a while
For a day
And the words you speak have lost their meaning
I'm finding it hard
Finding it hard to breathe
Just believe
Can't live the rest of my life inside
Getting older into the night
Can't leave the moment that I should have seen
Are you next to me?
Just leave me bundled and alone in a pile of pieces
In my abyss
This is the sound of my soul buying a ticket
Your hands aren't that cold
Your heart isn't that warm
For a while
For a day
Your breath is without steam
Mind is a frozen stream
For a while
For a day
And the words you speak have lost their meaning
I'm finding it hard
Finding it hard to breathe
Just believe
Can't live the rest of my life inside
Getting older into the night
Can't leave the moment that I should have seen
Are you next to me?
Just leave me bundled and alone in a pile of pieces
In my abyss
This is the sound of my soul buying a ticket
Got nothing but the pitter-patter of time
On my mind
So stop taking the time out of time
So stop taking the time out of time
So stop taking the time out of time out of time
Can't live the rest of my life inside
Getting older into the night
Can't leave the moment that I should have seen
Are you next to me?
Just leave me bundled and alone in a pile of pieces
In my abyss
This is the sound of my soul buying a ticket

I like the subtle way in which the tracks connect to the album cover, making this resting maiden the center point — calm in the midst of storm. (Just my interpretation maybe but the cover gives extra depth to the music... a softer undertone). The image reminds me of ‘Annunciation’ by Dante G. Rossetti used in ‘Adrenaline’ music video.
‘Smoke and Mirrors’ puts me at peace with big disappointments — a bittersweet musical potion.

Perfectly gloomy Norwegian goth/post-punk, anchored by a punchy rhythm section and driven by chiming guitar lines and morose vocals. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 16, 2021
“Strangers” is packed with wonderfully menacing electro-goth—late-night horror movie music for vampire dance parties. Bandcamp New & Notable May 8, 2023
